Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Dayping mobile application and website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. User Accounts

Dayping offers sign-in through third-party authentication providers:

• Sign in with Apple — uses your Apple ID to create and authenticate your account
• Sign in with Google — uses your Google account to create and authenticate your account

By creating an account, you agree that:

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account

You may also join events as a guest without creating an account. Guest data is stored locally and on our servers, and can be claimed later by creating an account.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create through the Service, including but not limited to:

• Events and event details
• Photos and images you upload
• Community posts and interactions

By posting content on Dayping, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you create and share.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Post spam, misleading, or unwanted content
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Upload or share sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise offensive material
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our permission

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

The Dayping name, logo, visual design, and all original content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Dayping and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without our prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Services

Dayping integrates with the following third-party services to enhance your experience:

• Apple Music — for music integration within events
• Unsplash — for high-quality cover images
• TMDB (The Movie Database) — for movie and TV show event data
• Firebase (Google) — for authentication, data storage, and hosting

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external services.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users or third parties, or for any other reason.

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings tab in the app. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dayping shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in any content

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
